From ever failing to never failing
So you know how i basically never win at monopoly against Danny? Yeah. Well so far the record is 3 to 2. 3 being me! I now have started a winning STREAK of two. Life is good for Lindsey Diane Clark. Yup. Life is good.
Clarifications
If you got a Christmas newsletter from my family, my blog name was beside my name. Whether or not that is why you are actually reading this, is not my problem.
But, i have some clarifications to make for my section of the newsletter.
My section is always the smallest and most untrue.
Thank goodness for this blog or i'd have no idea what to do.
It said i sold italian sodas for income!
I certainly did not. It was only for fun.
It also said i played volleyball on JV.
We did not need to say JV on behalf of my dignity.
Not that i'm a person with low self-esteem,
But come on people! We all can dream!
And now, my friends I will re-write my section of the letter,
And with absolutely no flaws or betters.
Bear with me people, as i'm trying to rhyme.
Obviously I've got too much spare time.
Lindsey Diane is amazing.
She has lots of friends and a dog that loves grazing.
Her sister got married so she and leah made italian sodas for the reception.
Not for sale of course, because she had no exception.
She also played volleyball, (and is not a gymnist)
How many games they won is none of your business.
She improved so much, in fact her window couldn't take it.
She served the ball so hard that she really did break it.
Lindsey is now in high school, and with that, comes seminary.
It is so hard that she wants to sing like a canary,
"Waking up this early sucks!
It makes me feel like a dying duck!"
Not that seminary is bad, come on! It's good for the soul!
It's just that being up that early makes her want to mold.
But somehow she'll make it. Dead or alive.
Eighty percent, not thirty-five.
Other than that, her life is great!
She's got an awesome family, and lots on her plate.
We all have struggles, big or small.
Seminary is big. and she is tall. (5'7" to be exact!)

VICTORY!
I finally beat my brother Danny at monopoly. And this time it was actually real. You have no idea how many times i have played monopoly with him. Whatever that uncountable number is, that's how many times i have lost. But this game was different. I WON!! I had a great time rubbing in my win. I even made (or attempted to make) myself a nice big pancake in the shape of a W for winner. I offered one to Danny in the shape of an L (for loser of course!), but he said no. Oh well!
And I'm pretty sure the new piece had something to do with my win. Never play as the dog. It's definently a dud.
